Today was a little challenging, with the announcement of a confirmed case of Covid-19 in Alaska and the knowledge that a lot of AK is isolated in small communities with little to no medical help but with the needs for air travel…and prepping for potential distance learning…it has been stressful…

But. I’m thankful for a half snow day, the hour of ukuleles and learning to play some chords that the music teacher brought to our classroom today. I’m extra thankful that my school has a music teacher (and an AMAZING one at that).

I’m thankful that my roommate gets cancellations for blizzards when I do and that our dog doesn’t whine because of the wind and was actually super chill today.
